
Dr. Marshall Kohr
Dr. Kohr received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1989. He worked from 1989 until 1991 in a predominantly cattle practice in Bridgeport, Nebraska until relocating to Gillette and opening AMC with Dr. Lynde. Dr. Kohr has practiced both small and large animal medicine in the past but preferring large animal, now strictly sees only equine and bovine patients.
Dr. Darren Lynde
Dr. Lynde acquired his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Being a native of Gillette, he returned to the area after graduating and worked for Gillette Veterinary Clinic from 1989 until 1991 when he and Dr. Kohr opened Animal Medical Center. Dr. Lynde practices and enjoys both small and large animal medicine.
Dr. Nicole Allee
Dr. Allee is a native of Gillette and a 1989 Colorado State graduate. She was a classmate of Drs. Kohr and Lynde. After graduating she worked at mixed practices in Pueblo and Lamar, Colorado until 1991. From 1991 until 1993 she worked in a small animal practice in Spearfish, South Dkota. She joined the AMC team in 1993 and now works part time. Dr. Allee worked with both large and small animals until 1996 but now works primarily with small animals.
Dr. Diane Ernst
Dr. Ernst received her Dorcorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1970 from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She has worked in Montana, Washington, and Wyoming, as well as internationally, and has worked part time for AMC since September of 1996. Dr. Ernst is especially interested in small animal behavior. She also participates in teaching canine obedience classes.
Dr. Brandi Hudson
Dr. Hudson was raised in Gillette and attended the University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then went on to Colorad State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2002. Dr. Hudson is skilled in both large and small animal medicine, and works with both on a daily basis.
Dr. Susan Lucas
Dr. Lucas attended veterinary school in Manhattan, Kansas and graduated wiht her DVM in 1980. From 1980 until 1981 she worked at a veterinary clinic in North Dakota. In 1982 she began working for Gillette Vet Clinic here in Gillette. She stayed with Gillette Vet until 1991 when she went back to Bismark Animal Hospital in North Dakota for a short time. She has worked at AMC since 1992. Dr. Lucas' main interests lie in small animals- she especially likes orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Kevin Morrell
Dr. Morrell is the newest veterinarian at AMC. A South Dakota native, he attained a degree in radiologic technology after high school. Dr. Morrell then finished his undergraduate work at Boise State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Radiologic Sciences. He graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Morrell primarily works with small animals, and has special interests in orthopedics and ultrasound.

Dr. Brady Okes
Dr. Okes grew up in Casper, Wyoming and attended Montana State University Bozeman and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology. He graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, and has lived in Gillette since then. Dr. Okes treats both small and large animals and enjoys small animal orthopedic surgeries. He loves to fish, hunt, camp, backpack, and spend time with his family in his spare time.

Dr. Megan Okes
Dr. Okes grew up in Colorado and attended Montana State University Bozeman where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology. She then went on to receive a Master’s degree from ColoradoStateUniversity in Biomedical Science. Dr. Okes then graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been living in Gillette since her graduation, and works primarily with small animals at AMC.

Dr. Brad Powell
Born and raised in west Texas, Dr. Powell attended undergraduate school at Abilene Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Dr. Powell attended veterinary school at Texas A&M, where he graduated in 1997. He and his family moved to Gillette in 1999, when he began working at AMC. Dr. Powell enjoys all aspects of mixed practice, including work with exotic animals, but has a special interest in horses.
Dr. Matthew Vercimak
A Wyoming native, Dr. Vercimak grew up in Kaycee and attended the University of Wyoming. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2001, and went on to graduate from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Vercimak’s primary interests lie in equine and bovine medicine, as well as small animal soft tissue surgery. He enjoys working with horses, and spending time in the mountains hunting and fishing.
